At Tudor we believe it is vital to help girls identify and pursue the things they are passionate about, whilst exploring the breadth of opportunities open to them in the world of work. For this reason, our Careers Programme supports and empowers girls right from the start of their time at Tudor.
The Programme provides a tailored pathway which aims to ensure that each girl understands her strengths, develops a wide skills set and is motivated to explore careers that build on her interests and abilities, can select GCSE & A Level options and University Courses which will help to support her career aspirations and has the opportunity to gain insight into the realities of life in the workplace.
Throughout the year we provide a wide range of opportunities for girls to learn more about careers they are interested in and discover new possibilities. Careers talks, a series of sector-specific Networking Dinners, a Careers Conference and a Higher Education Fair all enable girls to gain insight from industry experts and our careers library holds a wealth of useful resources. Sixth Form girls also receive one to one support from their Tutors, the Senior Management Team and the Head of Careers to really help them to try to find and prepare for the career path which is right for them.
Our Careers Programme also benefits from our very supportive alumnae network. Old Tudorians working across a diverse range of sectors both in the UK and abroad help current pupils in a variety of ways, from speaking at careers events to providing one to one advice and offering internships.
Most recently, we have hosted virtual events that connect Old Tudorians with current pupils to inspire them about a career in a range of professions.
