We were honoured to welcome HRH The Duchess of Cornwall to formally open the £6.2m Teaching Centre in January 2020. The Teaching Centre is the largest and most ambitious addition to Tudor Hall facilities to date and sits at the heart of the School site. Designed to provide teaching spaces for the core subjects of Mathematics and English, and specialist classrooms for the creative arts, the Teaching Centre transforms the teaching provision the School offers. We are delighted to have it operative and we are already witnessing its impact.
The Teaching Centre would not have been possible without the loyal support of our community who contributed £2.29 towards the cost of the project. We are grateful to all our donors and thank them for supporting our long-term vision for the school.
Tudor Hall is a well-managed and carefully financed school, but it does not have an endowment. All development and refurbishment is funded from fee income and philanthropic support. We are ambitious for the girls and want them to have the facilities they need and deserve. We rely on the support of the Tudor community to ensure Tudor Hall’s continuity as a model of all that is best about an independent, girls’ boarding school education.
It has always been a privilege to work with such inspirational girls. Now we have an inspirational building to match. Bob Roberts, Head of English
